Beginning of Winter' is the 19th solar term in the
24 solar terms. On the traditional Chinese stove,
crabs are being trimmed and put into the bamboo steamer.
The back splash is a beautiful Chinese painting on
tile. It's a painting in the painting. A red Chinese
character 'Fu' (fortune) is above the back splash.
A very decorative piece indeed. The artist's chop
is at the lower right bottom. |
