are hanging the dyed fabrics on the ropes.
The background is the workshop in an
old house. The name board of the workshop
is hanging above the door. Workers are
dyeing fabrics. Some people are watching
the dyeing process. A customer is buying
indigo fabrics from the shop on the left
of the dyehouse. The signature and the
chop of the artist are at the lower right
corner. This painting won the 2nd award
in the second session of Chinese National
Culture Fair Folk Art Exhibition in 1992. The signature
of the artist is at the lower right corner. |
